The coast-to-coast trek involving pre-1937 motorcycles began Friday in Daytona Beach, FL and ends 3,938 miles later on Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA on Sept. 21.

The riders from Connecticut are Buzz Kanter on a 1936 Harley-Davidson VLH, Denis Sharon on a 1936 BMW R12, and Dan Emerson on a 1936 Harley-Davidson EL.

From New Hampshire, there’s Ron Roberts on a 1936 Indian Chief.

Through six stages, Emerson is doing the best of the New England riders. He’s completed all 1,241 miles so far and ranks in 21st place.
