With the Progressive International Motorcycle Show at the Javits Center in New York only three days away, Indian today announced that it plans to unveil two customized versions of its middle-weight 2015 Scout cruiser at the show.
Karlee Cobb of Klock Werks Custom Cycles has created an “Outrider” version, while John Shope, owner of the custom shop Dirty Bird, has designed a sportbike version of the Scout that’s dubbed “Scout 42.”
The bikes will be unveiled at the IMS press day on Thursday. Both builders will be at the Indian exhibit signing autographs from 2 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. to noon, 2 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
Hours for the IMS are 1 to 9 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $18 for adults and $6 for children 6-12.
