“Hitting The Apex” finally has some U.S. dates. The movie, narrated by Brad Pitt and directed by Mark Neale, begins a limited release rollout in the states today with five theaters in New England hoping to screen it over the next month.

“Hitting The Apex” goes behind the scenes at Moto GP and focuses on the careers of Casey Stone, Dani Pedrosa, Jorge Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi, Marc Marquez and Marco Simoncelli, who died at Sepang in 2011.

Films clips from “Hitting The Apex” will also be screened at the upcoming Progressive International Motorcycle Show in New York (Dec. 11-13) and Neale will be in attendance.

“After the long process of making one of these films, it’s a pleasure to meet the people that we make them for – motorcyclists like us who want movies about the sport we love. There’s another special connection: the Long Beach show is where we premiered ‘FASTER’ back in 2003. We’re really looking forward to being back,” said Neale.

The following theaters in New England are scheduled to show “Hitting The Apex” soon. The screenings are dependent upon sufficient ticket sales:

Massachusetts

Dec. 3 – Cinema de Lux Legacy Place in Dedham

Dec. 7 – Showcase Cinemas Blackstone Valley 14 in Milbury

Dec. 16 – Showcase Cinemas Worcester North in Worcester

New Hampshire

Dec. 3 – Cinemagic & IMAX in Hooksett
