Polaris, Indian Go After Crazy Horse

By Bud Wilkinson at RIDE-CT.com

Polaris and its Indian brand are going after the small maker of Crazy Horse motorcycles for trademark infringement. They want Crazy Horse, which is based in Kent, Wash., to stop using a headdress logo and design as a corporate identifier as well as on tank and fender badges. Looking at the gas tank emblem (right) it seems obvious that Crazy Horse has copied Indian and that Polaris and Indian’s outrage is justified. The Cyril Huze blog has details here. In the comments that follow the post, riders side with Indian in what will likely be a one-sided fight.
